IH Barcelona ELT Conference – Roving Reporters by   Phil Longwell   on   13/01/2018   in   Blog Share this.....  Congratulations to our members,  Amadeu Marin  and  Sebastiana ‘Anna’ Venuto , on winning the LTSIG Roving Reporter grant for our strand at International House BCN ELT conference. All IATEFL members can attend this great event at reduced rates.  You can enrol  here  but places are limited to 450 and they always get filled. This is their reaction to winning the travel grant. Anna Venuto I was born in  Sicily  and I got my degree in European Languages and Cultures (English, Spanish and Italian)  at  Catania University  in 2007,  a certificate ( CEDILS )  for Italian teaching in 2007, a training teacher course ( CAP)  in Spain, at Jaén University in 2008 and a Master in Applied Linguistics  to English as a FL, in 2010.  I've been working in Spain as a curious, committed and passionate English-Italian teacher, since 2008, both at private and run-state schools. Currently I am based in Castellón, where I'm working as an Italian teacher, at the EOI . Over the last few years, I have promoted some creative projects with my students, focusing my attention on a different way of evaluation , where the students themselves have made up their own "final exams" which have been carried out as a kind of competition game, organized in different tasks,( graded reader books, Moodle tasks, Quizlet, Kahoot and other c...
